The Owners of Delgados are Robert and Julie
Today this beautifully quaint and traditional restaurant is now under the ownership of Robert and Julie. After taking it over in 2007, Robert and Julie have managed to re-establish the restaurant’s mediterranean charm and eloquence. Originally from the south east, Robert and Julie have worked together since 1999, starting out in holiday parks in the UK and then in hotels abroad, finally ending up in Italy itself, where an inspiring Italian lady, Rosa, taught them the passion for Italian flare from home made pasta to regional Italian classics to add to Robert’s already growing collection of Italian dishes. From there they set sail for home with a view to opening their own restaurant.
Authentic Italian Menu
The menu at Delgados manages to cater for everyone whilst still remaining authentic. All their dishes are freshly prepared using local seasonal produce and in addition they import some extra special ingredients direct from Italy itself. It has a vast selection of main meals from the stone-baked freshly prepared pizzas, and authentic pasta dishes, to a variety of steak and poultry dishes, each made with locally produced meat of the highest standard and, to top it all, kids can make their own pizza.
